Bre began working at The Athletic in April of 2021 as a Social and Programming Manager creating content for the company's digital platforms.

Bre made her editorial debut with The Athletic in October of 2021.

She had the opportunity to recount her unique experience as a member of one of the best girls' basketball teams in the country, in which other players were the daughters of Hall of Fame caliber athletes.

The piece was well received and included in The Athletic’s Best of 2021.

It's been made available for all to read here.

Free Game Program

FREE-GAME white.png

In September of 2020, Bre officially announced her non-profit organization Free Game Program.

Bre attended the University of West Georgia and as a member of the Women's Basketball team, she was able to graduate debt-free and launch her broadcasting career in the same year. Realizing the opportunities and head start that athletics provided her, Bre made it one of her life's missions to help other student athletes take advantage of their circumstances.

Free Game Program is designed to assist amateur athletes in receiving higher education at little to no cost. The organization focuses on developing students not only on the court/field, but in the classroom and beyond. Its goal is to produce well educated, professionally successful, and civilly responsible individuals while using sports as the vehicle to a lifetime of financial freedom.
